Bands with a star by their name on the Meshed Up library are festival tested and vetted by the company’s founder, Matt Meshbane. That signifies that we have worked with that band in a professional setting and they “passed the audition”.
We will continually update our library to bring you more bands from multiple genres.
How did we get here?
Owner Matt Meshbane has been running sound and promoting bands all over Austin for over 30 years. During that time he’s maintained lifelong friendships with hundreds of players. For the first 10 years, it was just for fun. Then he got to work. After working independently and in the various live music venues around Austin for 20 years, he decided to form his own production company. He bought a PA system and started freelancing in 2014.

In 2016, was asked to help out with a small festival in west Texas.
He got the call from someone working with the festival that they needed sound on one of the stages, so he loaded up his one small PA system in his Astrovan, called a friend to help, and headed out to the Viva Big Bend music festival, by then in it’s 4th year.
After helping with sound production and stage support for the 4 day festival, they hired him to take the reins in 2017, and MeshedUpATX was born.
MeshedUpATX now owns and operates 6 PA systems and has an extensive network of professional sound engineers, noteworthy musicians, and a long list of satisfied customers.
We have been head of production for The Viva Big Bend Music Festival for over 10 years now, featuring over 50 bands in 10 venues simultaneously, over 4 days in 5 towns in west Texas. The festival is held on the last weekend of July every year.

We are based just outside Austin between Pilot Knob and Mustang Ridge. We serve clients within a 250-mile radius of ZIP code 78744, as well as Marfa, Fort Davis, Terlingua, Marathon, Presidio and Alpine in the West Texas High Desert, also known as the Chihuahuan Desert.
